I'd have thought this would get sorted out soon. I believe WBC didn't even realise (lol), until they were asked about it, so hopefully now they know, they will sort it. Wilder's team should be all over it though, making sure it does get sorted.

I honestly think VADA are shady. I wouldn't sign up. WBC are known to be corrupt, VADA is another one of their tools of corruption.

Goodman also said that there has been no request made yet from fight organizers for a specialized testing protocol that goes beyond the somewhat limited scope of the WBC's Clean Boxing Program.

Wilder has been a strong advocate for a testing program specific to each of his fights. But Goodman said, "VADA has not been contacted to conduct testing (beyond the WBC Clean Boxing Program) leading up to this upcoming fight."

Doesnt sound like there will be frequent random testing either.

There should be just one drug testing organisation worldwide. Every pro boxer should register. If your not registered you can't fight. But the rules should be clear, every time a new drug is banned the boxers should be emailed to inform them

They are not yet 'in camp'....They are doing a roadshow

As soon as they are in training they will both sign up

Its funny how some boxers get a pass from fans and some gets excuses regarding the PED thing....

The point is Tyson should of signed up to the VADA tested WBC CBP months ago when he entered their rankings it’s mandatory.
Normally every big fight now has a VADA random testing agreement which the promoters have to pay for and the minute the contract is signed that’s when the testing begins.

The minute the fight contract is signed under VADA rules you are tested as “in competition” hence BJS failed test

If they did it that way it has already be proven to be kinda useless. Otherwise you can cheat your ass off, build up power and lean muscle and flush your system when they finally start testing.
You need to be tested all year round to be in the WBC rankings at all, and certainly when you have already been caught like the Fury's

All top athletes have to inform UKAD of their whereabouts for a 1 hour time slot everyday so they can be randomly tested however when they leave the UK to most other countries and are not signed up to VADA then they won’t be tested.

Tyson has been in the WBC top 15 since July it can’t take 3 months plus to fill out a form signing up to VADA random testing CBP the whole thing is a joke he’s lucky he hasn’t been removed from the rankings like Miller etc

Easy way out of this for Fury.

He can say that he doesn't want the WBC title as that would lead to a mandatory after beating Wilder, which would delay a Joshua fight. The lineal champion card can also be played.
