Just saw this video seconds ago on TV and found it on the net http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_6262091,00.html
He's right, the Heavyweight division really needs some personality. To be honest most of boxing really needs some personality... those few who have it are making the big green.
Hes right, Haye needs to clean and i mean wipe the floor CLEAN the division...and hes not doing that at the moment. He needs to fight and beat them all, every name out there, Tua, "Arrabola", Peters, Adamek, WK, VK, Povetkin, Chagaev etc I dont think hes going to do that 2bh
i think hes spot on about haye fighting the other heavyweights around hes not got a chance against euther klitscho at this time
I totally disagree with what he is saying and if you think about it he totally contradicts himself in this interview. I do agree with one thing he said, your not a good promoter unless you steal peoples money!!
This isnt Haye. The guys is so inactive its ridiculous. IMO Haye if he is to retire when he says has maybe 2-3 fights left in him.
Mike is an honest guy now, but it is obvious that he still suffers from clinical depression which is only beginning to be understood and the stigmas being removed, i think this is an area that mike should lend his name to it is something that he could really make a difference at with his name and former boxing career
haye needs to keep active. Negotiatinf with the Klitschkos is more dodgy than dealing with Don King. haye should concentrate on the others, there are some good fights with Adamek, Arreola etc. Beat the guys the Klits are beating, but in better style!
Haye has said he's out of the fight game soon - next year soon! So, all this talk of taking on several other fighters hasn't been taken into account by Mike. Haye is looking for 2 or at tops 3 fights and then he's done. There's no time for doing what Tyson said...even if it was the sensible thing to do. Haye said he's on a mission and its a short one. So he may take 1 more bum and the has to fight his retirement fights against the Klits. And as much of a fan as I am, I am growing tired of his silence after all that mouth he gave before he got a belt. If I had to bet my house on a winner with Haye against either brother I would be rooting for Haye but I wouldn't bet my house on him. I would have to say I think he's got a chance but the odds are against him...and the fact that he's not wanting to make the fight with the brothers without silly demands makes me think in his heart of hearts he doesnt really believe he can do it. I hope I'm wrong.
