Always nice to hear from Mike Tyson. Can't say I agree with him here. Back in his day you didn't see fat glass hearts like Chambers, Thompson, and Briggs getting title shots. And if they did they were annihilated in under 6 rounds.

i honestly don't think mike gives a **** about being nice. He was always a say what i feel kinda guy.

In between rounds during the Cotto-Mayorga fight they interviewed Tyson in the crowd and he said something like they were both over the hill and trying to get a payday, lol. the announcers went into damage control immediately

That really is beautifully and eloquently stated.

Fighters from a past generation will always say "I could've beat xxxxxx" and fans from that same generation will say the same thing.

Tyson realizes that boxers in the HW division not only get bigger, but the SKILL level remains constant with the size. This means a bigger, and equally skilled, if not more skilled HW will always be on the horizon.

This is why it's unfair to pit Marciano against the likes of Vitali. Two products of different eras. Vitali murders Marciano, yes, but in 60 years there will be a guy that would likely murder Vitali. The cycle continues.

We can only ask of fighters to do the best in the time frame they have.

Mike Tyson is sometimes right with what he says, most times he is wrong. When taking the words of a lunatic who wants to eat children and sodomize men it have to be taken with a grain of salt. The k2 express train is beautiful in it's robotic efficiency but the truth of the matter is after the k2 the HW competition have dropped dramatically when compared with the 90's and 70's. This matters a lot because when you go through tough B Rated Fighters it takes it's toll on your body. The K2 express went through a whole bunch of below mediocre fighters hence prolonging the express ride.

That being said, K2 are monsters and future ATGS. I agree with Lil Mike when he says it's not K2's fault. It's not. H2H I will only favor a handful of fighters over both K2.

The only fighters that I can say with confidence will beat both Klits is Prime Lewis and Prime Ali. Obviously Lil K will be in a tougher fight against guys like Prime Tyson Prime Foreman and Prime Bowe Holyfield etc. But Bigger K will only be in danger against Ali Lewis.

Mike Tyson's words and actions should never be taken seriously. Same with his career. As much as Guru and many others LOVE Lil Mike and his destruction of mostly bums, Mike was never even truly the best of his own era. Ala Lennox Holyfield Bowe.
