I rate them both on the 7-10 tier, along with Marciano & Holyfield. I think having either guy higher is fair. If forced to choose I would give a slight edge to Frazier...but either one is fine by me. I wouldn’t argue anyone who has it opposite, I’ll leave that for those who feel stronger about it than me.

Mike Tyson's best win as a win over an ancient Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks (who was scared stiff and wanted no part of it) and then Frank Bruno...

    He's so overrated.

Tyson isn't overrated. Frazier had only one remarkable win an over the hill Ali who avenged this Frazier loss two times.

Haha! Good point. You can say Tyson is the Hulk compared to Patterson's David Banner.

Not to mention Machen, Bonavena, Doug Jones, Chuvalo, Mathis, Manuel Ramos, Bob Foster, and Joe Bugner. Otherwise I'd agree, Joe has no remarkable wins.

Compared to Spinks or Holmes these are nobodies. Bugner,Mathis,DougJones ? I think you are in funny mood.
Ramos ? By your opinion this is a remarkable win… Just a Tyson hater can believe this.

I said they were remarkable wins, not fighters. But at any rate Machen, Bonavena, Chuvalo, and Bob Foster were big names. However, at least Frazier beat prime Mathis, Ramos, and Bugner, and decisively, as opposed to Tyson's robbery win over James Tillis, wins over washed up Larry Holmes and Pinklon Thomas. Big deal. Not to mention the horrible call the ref made over Carl Williams; not impressive either. What about the 90s? Tyson fights two bums, McNeeley and Mathis, Jr. and gets to fight Bruno for the title when there are tons of guys on the scene like Mercer, Foreman, McCall, Lewis, Morrison, Witherspoon, Holyfield, and many many others far more deserving of title shots. Plus, there's Tyson's "great" win over the "intrepid" Bruce Seldon. Give me a break. It was a fix. Tyson just has so many controversial fights. He TKO'd Ferguson when it was really a DQ, he DQ'd McNeeley when it was really a knockout. He won a decision against Tillis when he lost it. He was grabbed and grabbed all night by Mitch Green and Bonecrusher, and was helpless. He struggled with Tony Tucker only to edge him out barely. H knocked out some old guys. Williams was stopped when he shouldn't have been. He lost to a past-it Buster Douglas. He bit Holyfield's ear. Add in the fix against Seldon, the NC against Norris, and his last two losses to complete bums, Tyson really only has a few good wins over the likes of Berbick, Michael Spinks, Frank Bruno, Alex Stewart, and Ruddock. I don't hate Tyson, he's good. I just hate how overrated he is.

Who did Tyson beat who were leaps and bounds better than these 2 men?

right??? not really that many. Tyson looks amazing on paper, but when you see the guys he fought, it's not so amazing anymore. Tbh, the only prime guys Tyson beat that I would say were better than Ellis and Quarry would be Berbick, and that's just because I'm a Berbick fan. Quarry and Ellis were very good tho.

I'm confident Quarry would beat Berbick. I'd make Ellis a favorite as well but even them I'm not sure.
