Tyson or Morrison?

    I was reading peoples nonsene on another site and people were stating that morrison hit harder than tyson. Prime vs Prime. No way in my opinion. whats everyones take?

    They were both devastating hookers, but I feel Tyson had the heavier hands, even though Tommy threw a picture pefect left hook, maybe the best I ever seen at the heavyweight level, Tyson was more powerful IMO.

    Whoever stated this is a bonafide idiot.

    A man who had trouble putting away shot Carl Williams, Joe Hip, and couldn't put away Michael Bent, who tragically already had brain damage at the time, hit harder than prime Tyson?

    And much of Morrison's overrated power came from injection.

    He fought most of the fight with a broken jaw against Hip, I'm sure that didnt help.

    I dont feel Morrison was as powerful as Tyson, but his left hook was nearly just as good, at least technique wise. Ruddick might tell you the same, a guy that was wininng until Morrison landed one left hook out of nowhere that changed the fight and caused Ruddick to take the knockout lose.

    Tyson Knocked out much better opposition than Morrison, sorry but you gotta go with the guy fighting against better oppisition, Tyson wins hands down.

    I think it goes both ways. Tyson had no single punch as hard as Morrison's left hook. However Tyson had more power in a wider variety of punches therefor he was a more devastating puncher than Tommy because Tommy had to find an opening for the perfect left hook. However I don't think Mike ever hit anyone as hard with a single punch as Tommy did Ruddick with the left hook.

    This thread is full of fail. If you even entertain the notion for ONE SECOND that Morrison hit NEARLY as hard as Tyson, stop posting.

    Tyson and Tua? Good comparison and a question worth asking.

    MORRISON?? Ni**a, please!

    ha this thread shouldnt be commented on

    listen to this though, i saw a thread on an mma forum saying how rampage jackson hits harder than tyson and studies were done with machines that measure punch power and it found that rampage hit harder, i had to register and state the facts, fair enough most posters had their opinion and right opinion that this was bs but there was the select few who thought opposite

    Botha got hit pretty hard, Morrison doesn't compare to Tyson's power.
     
  11. Morrison even on Roids couldn't hit as hard as Tyson...

    I think Lennox hit harder than both of them..

    Not much harder. About the same power except Tyson had power in both hands and was much faster. And had a better chin of course.

    Tyson of course.

    Morrison was no slouch and threw brilliant combinations in his own right.

    Tyson didn't have Foreman-Shavers type power. His power was based partially in his un-Godly hand speed.

    As Tyson aged and his hand speed waned, he couldn't knock out a blind girl.
