Tyson is a harder puncher and greater fighter by far. The only person Morrison beat who Tyson might not of been able to is Foreman. Foreman's style was hard to deal with for a guy with Tyson's size and style. If Foreman was hitting Mike and Mike could not back up, Mike would have been knocked out easy.
Tyson. He had more punches in his arsenal and waaaay better handspeed. That's not really a bash on Tommy either, I think he had just as good of a left hook as Tyson but Mike had more power in his right, more speed & his combinations were incredible. Tommy had decent overall skills but he tended to neglect his defense as the fight wore on.
I agree but Tommy had a picture perfect left hook with great power. On left hooks alone I would say they were equally devastating. Many of Tommy's later opponents would simply defend against that left hook & that pretty much shut Tommy down. You couldn't do that with Tyson. You needed to keep Mike on the outside which was nearly impossible since he closed the distance so fast.
I am not a fan of either but I would love to see Tyson kick that over hyped Morrison's ass. Mike's only worry would be getting HIV infested blood splattered in his eye.
That's without mentioning Tyson was a faster, sharper puncher than Morrison. Morrison was a solid fighter, but he was not in Tyson's league & that's not meant to be disrespectful towards Tommy!
James Tillis, Joe Hipp, Carl Williams & Razor Ruddock are Tommy's best knockouts and they are all a bit better than crap, c'mon now. At his best Tommy was either a lower end "A" fighter or one of the better "B" fighters. His 3 best wins IMO were the Ruddock KO, the Forman decision & the Hipp KO.
Yea no kidding, when would Tyson have even hit one of these machines? Maybe he hits harder than this 320lb lazy 42yr old lazy Tyson.
