You gotta be a very Confused Guy like your nickname. The seconds of extra time given to Wildr were 20 and not 60 as you say. They were given because the local commission in New York City wanted to check if Wilder was phyiscally capable of moving forward with the fight. As to the count of Fury the thread's referring to the third fight and not to the first.
Wilder was saved by the Bell right? And there's 60 secs between rounds. So he had 60 secs to recover and no significant damage to his face....so why did the Dr then check on him at all? Also yes, this thread is referring to the third fight. But that doesn't mean that any point that may be relevant that comes from a different fight should be ignored. I pointed out that the ref counting Fury in the 12th was perfectly in line with the rules, but assumed you complained anyway. Which if so, would further illustrate your bias. Fury stopped Wilder. Twice. That will never change, so I'd suggest trying to accept it, as hard as it may be for you.
Dude I got no dog in Wilder/Fury fights. According to you Wilder wasnt hurt between the 7th and the 8th with Ortiz? OK, so.. ask the doc of NY commission about the extra time given to Wilder. I cant answer about this. I can only say It was in the rule book.
You just created a thread about how wilder is a better p4p fighter than the guy he got stopped by twice in a row. At least have to balls to admit you're a wilder stan. When did I say wilder wasn't hurt? He was clearly hurt quite badly. The round ended. And then he was given extra time as the doctor examined him at the start of the next round right?
Im just a USyK fan who Is pleased to seek the truth in things. The thread you are referring was made because in these days I've read many P4P rankings on the web where Fury was rated in the best 5: pure heresy imo.
If anyone had a keen eye they could see the ref had clearly briefed himself on these bouts He took his time with all the counts, making sure the fighter could see or hear him clearly. He spent a lot of the early bout trying to prevent Fury's aggressive fighting during a clinch which is fair enough. He also let them work out of a clinch if he seemed reasonable which was something Kenny wasn't doing. Ref did a good job and by his count was slower we're talking a second or two. Nothing too terrible. There was no bias at play here. Kenny did the worst job out of the three refs we had, mostly because he couldn't deal with physicality of the fight. You can't contradict your verbal and physical commands in the heat of a battle either. You see how the ref waved Caleb plant off last night after the 2nd time he went down but wasn't completely out of it? Ref would not have done that for Fury Wilder because like a true pro he was giving both men the absolute maximum benefit of the doubt. Which is very much needed for high profile bouts.
If you want to get picky then the 2nd KD in the 4th should have resulted in a point deduction from Wilder as it was an illegal shot. He had his arm round Furys neck and pulled his head into the punch.
If you rewatch the first Wilders KD you can notice Fury has an arm round Wilder's neck before punching him. Illegal too.
