He brought Lyle down with a barrage of arm punches in the corner. From a distance it looked like he was just slapping away with nothing behind the shots. He didn't really get any good leverage wind up or snap. Yet Lyle slowly tumbled into the canvas in severe pain and was counted out. Clearly it was Foreman's absurd heavy handedness that broke him down like cannonballs against a castle.

Yes but that was just the final shots when other bigger full punches kept flooring Lyle-& he got knocked down a couple times too.
Those were not even heavy arm punches for him, he was tiring, inactive for a long while before the fight, had to dig deep.

When I think of this crazy fat leftist lunatic running around I think dammit, Michael, how did you let yourself get out of shape like this? Didn't you used to be champion? Now I see you on MSNBC talking a bunch of nonsense, barely even recognizable as a former athlete. I mean, his fashion sense is on point with mine but still, he used to be a-well, I don't really remember him that well, but I suspect he was really fit when he fought Foreman at least.

Still playing well at being the blithering Village Idiot?
There are people who are sincerely like this, but we never know what creative non-sequitor & now a new Foreman-esque reference or indi(sc)rection you will introduce next lol!

Yeah good point. Foreman was almost completely spent and yet sloppy arm punches brought Lyle down. Crazy clubbing power.

Also interesting that the supposedly harder hitting shavers couldn't keep Lyle down in the previous fight.

I am pretty sure that like everyone who fought Shavers said, win or lose, Koed or not, that he hit the hardest of all they faced.
I am also saying that all the full swing punishment Lyle took before the arm punches in the corners did most of the damage.

That's what I thought. Lyle was done before the corner.

Yes Lyle definitely was damaged from the major pain Foreman dished out previously. I completely agree.

I just think it's very indicative of Foreman's insane clubbing power and arm strength because he had hardly any wind up, leverage, or weight behind the shots he was landing in the corner. They were slow as hell but Lyle crumbled and had no energy left to escape.
