both of these fighters have something in common and that is that they were two of the most feared fighters during their prime....in their primes no one wanted to fight them and when they did they were scared to death before they even stepped in the ring.......who are some other feared fighters that you know of?

I don't think Jones was feared, per se...he was just immensely talented, but I don't think opponents feared him coming into the ring. He wasn't really a ferocious puncher. I don't know what you mean when you say nobody wanted to fight him.

Jones wasn't as scary, but he did earn the respect of elites like Hopkins and Toney.

Tyson never beat anyone nearly as good as either man, unless you count the ancient Holmes.

At middleweight and super middleweight Roy Jones' punching was nothing short of "ferocious"

If you read his statement he said that they were two of the most feared men in boxing. NOT every boxer feared him. Yes Tyson was one of the most feared men in boxing. NO everyone was not afraid of him.
