Tyson says he would have beaten V. & W. Klitschko in their prime.

What does Holyfield have to do with this thread? Dude...you're really stuck on Mike folding when opponents fought back? When guys fought Mike back, before he lost interest in his profession, they either got flatbacked or face planted, both for the 10 count.

And when they didn't fight back they held. Wlad would hold, Vitali would fight and eventually hold.

The difference is that was the last fight of Tyson's career when he was the ghost of his former self not smack bang in his prime like Viali was with Byrd.

The size difference here is staggering. They were supposed to fight and took photos together. Tyson looks like his 13 year old son. Williams upset Tyson, so Vitali fought him instead.

    Yes
He quit because Chris Byrd was putting a beating on him. LoL
He even had to have surgery and a 7 month layoff because of the beating he received.

I have always given Tyson credit for being a great puncher, but he did not have the ability to take as well as he gave and Evander did. I was making a point about taking as well as giving. Catching as well as throwing. And Vlad and Vitali could also throw, although Vlad was not the best at catching he would use his size and fight big against Mike. I heard Mike was going to fight some exhibitions and was in training. I hope he is not thinking about really fighting for the title again. He has power so if he hits Wilder or Joshua he could win, but if they land on him the fight is over. So if he does decide to take that risk, it goes as far as he is lucky to win by early knockout. Once the fight goes a few rounds and they start to hit him he will get hit clean and go down.

    Yeah
The ones that fought back and didnt fold when he fought back, flatbacked and face planted his ass.
    What's your point?

Tyson was awesome. Resume wise they all beat the competition that was available. Vitaly has 7 inches and about 40 lbs on him. Vitali could box and had power. His chin is second to none. He isnt getting bullied or intimidated by a 5'10 220 boxer. That right there already puts Tyson at a disadvantage. Vitali would better Tyson around like he did everyone he faced.

Not really. Vitlay couldn't get that chip off his shoulder. His competition was hardly anything like the 80's or 90's heavyweights. A quick rundown of Vitlay Quitschko's opposition and it turns to snickering and eventually to full blown laughter.

I don't feel laughter, and I do think Vitali was a great fighter. Just not quite Wlad's level (and Wlad would be in some trouble with the Iron one, too).

I do agree with @Sangria that Mike would have handled Vitali.

Both Klits were great fighters. Their competition, ehhh, not so great. Their size would spell doom for most fighters. But we're talking about ATG's here, fighters who have fought all over the globe and came out on top.

Wlad would pose more problems for Tyson than Vitali but would also be the easier kill.

Fighters who pose the most problems for Mike Tyson:

    Joe Louis
    Sonny Liston
    Clay/Ali
    Foreman
    Holmes
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Lewis
    Wlad
    Vitali

Tyson's biggest win was a retired old Larry Holmes. LoL
    Spinks a light heavy.
    Ruddock?

Almost completely agree with all the above, but I'm not entirely sure whether Wlad or Vitali would be easier for Mike. I do keep in mind that Wlad might not have had the kind of chin that could endure a whole lot of Iron Mike.

I think that's true, but to me there's no denying the sensational ferocity of prime Mike. He was a total whirlwind of unbelievable proportions. I appreciate him more than ever after I've been here. Interestingly, I questioned Mike's heart before watching the Ruddock and Lewis fights. He was a great fighter.
