Maybe so, it's just how many times have you seen Wlad hit full force since Manny took the reigns? I'd bet in 4 rounds Tyson would hit Wlad flush more than Wlads last 10 opponents combined, AND more powerful than any of those opponents.
Don't get me wrong Wlad could wear Tyson down by clinching and smothering him inside and maybe take him out late but prime Tyson would find and way a catch him adventually imo.

Don't kid yourself, 38 year old Holmes was light years better and would have an easy night with 39 year old Vitali....If you think the 40 something Holmes that had taken 3 years off after Tyson and still went 12 rounds with Evander, looked anything like his former self, you don't know Holmes...He fought til 50 and was only KO'd once, and that was by Tyson...

Spinks had never been down a single time in all of his career, except once, actually twice, both by Tyson...

'88 Tyson would kill Vitali's body and take him out in the mid rounds, although I think Vitali would have his moments...Old Lennox rocked his world just head hunting...And I like Vitali, he's a beast...But just like 38 year old Lennox showed, they are rare but, some guys are just entirely different beasts...

I actually think that Bruno could have won if he just tied tyson inside isted of sluging with him. HE had some succes and Bruno and wlad are very alike.

Holmes from Tyson onwards? Seriously? nah, Vitali's high output beats the oldman, not as early as Tyson, late stoppage or pts Vitali, again ask yourself, how many guys better than Vitali did Holmes fight?

Spinks is an overrated fighter at HW, he did great with Holmes but that says more about where Holmes was in his career than Spink's greatness.

Mid rounds? 88' Tyson was no different than 87' Tyson, if Smith and Tucker go the distance how the hell does he beat a guy who's better than both of them??

Again you can't compare what Lewis did!! Even at 38 his gameplan is completely different to anything Tyson would do his entire career, completely different tools and styles.

That's how Bruno fought, that's what made this such a good matchup...Bruno was devastating for about 7-8 rounds and then would fall over from exhaustion....Tyson had him out in 5...

    The typical Klitschko fan rebuttal

"Nope the Klitschko brothers are too big for the smaller old time fighters so they win solely because of that"

because we all know the bigger fighter always wins....

42 year old Holmes beat 18-0 Olympic Gold Medalist Ray Mercer and went the distance with Prime Holyfield...

Bruno had the tools but was beaten before stepping in the ring. He would always lose to Tyson for the same reason Bowe would always lose to Lewis, fear.

Was he 2 years retired and coming back for money when he fought Holyfield? nooope. Did he beat Holyfield? Nooope. Is Holyfield such a big puncher that lasting the distance with him actually means something? Noooope.

Was sighting a green Mercer proof as to how good old Larry was? Nooope. The same Mercer who lost to Jessie Ferguson UD a year later? I suppose this shows just how good Ferguson was??

Old Holmes was good, but to say he's better than prime Vitali is ridiculous, prime Holmes wins but old Holmes? Pass.

Only in the eyes of people trying to make Tysons legacy greater than it is. Spinks was hugely overrated. Anyone who's career HW highlights are getting ktfo in 1 by Tyson, beating an old Holmes and Cooney is overrated period.
