Mike Tyson's only win, which is debatable (the stoppage is debatable), but the win is not a gift.

I preferred the 2nd one it was a bit more competitive and we got to see a longer fight.

I've also never seen anyone smile as much as Ruddock when he gets knocked down, his response to that was "well it's better than crying"

The controversial stoppage I've always thought actually benefitted Ruddock, the fight was stopped right after Ruddock had a good round in the 6th. So the publics memory of it was Ruddock rocked Tyson and got robbed with an early stoppage, when in reality it was mostly a one sided fight outside of the 6th round. And Tyson would of sent Ruddock into the 2nd row with 5 more seconds. It also gave Ruddock another big fight with Tyson, which probably wouldn't of happened had Richard Steele let the fight go on 5 more seconds.

I personally believe this. Ruddock was overmatched imo. To me it was a sign of Mike's decline (hadn't he already received criminal charges by then?) that he lasted 12 in the second fight.

Tyson had really gone back skill wise. Turned into a slugger

    Question.
If this had been Tyson of 1986 - what's the result?

probable knock Ruddock out in 2 round or 3

Ruddock show no skill of defensive or boxing intelligence IQ
just only attempt to repeat on same thing he did with Dokes. 1 big punch finish. but this is fool way to fight

Think your right. Tyson in that year was way to fast for Ruddock. Hed be caught coming in, throwing those wide open shots and get nailed. Be surprised if it gets past 3,as well.
