Tyson and Big John better get ahold of Peter. He’s undermining everything the walking contradiction claims.

“Tyson’s definitely above Joshua and Wilder, but Usyk’s a different ball game. He’s a tough fight for anybody.”

“He’s not a walk in the park and he’s not a small heavyweight.”

, so he’s not to be overlooked.”

“Usyk belongs where he is, he’s a serious fighter. Styles make fights – they just need to get it on.”

There we have it. The reason why Fury has bottled it multiple times and is running from Usyk like no one else in history.

Next up, a cruiserweight coming off a broken jaw

Peter Fury always comes across as a reasonable, decent guy.Unlike his brother or nephew.

It could go either way, but it won't because the fight won't happen...

Absolutely. Articulate, level headed and has a great boxing mind.

A shame really, to think about what Tyson ‘could have been’.

About 18 months ago Peter had an interview with Kugan from memory, and he stated that the only man that could beat Tyson is Usyk. He stated if Tyson didn’t come in at his best, it’s a fight he could lose.

So this isn’t really ‘new’ news from Peter.

Is that where Tyson gets it from?

Tried to choose a bridge over his family.
Chose to duck a middleweight for money.
    Chose coke over his legacy.
Chose PEDs to advance his career and tarnish his family name.

    :naughty:

I'd prefer it if an Aussies name wasn't dragged in the process by the big dosser. Opetaia impressed in beating Briedis and deserves every bit of praise, however, Fury has no business in dragging him up to HW to fight him. Deplorable.

Hell, fighting the big stiff Browne would be preferred.

He's the one who had the family rolling in money back in the day.

When Joshua was looking for a coach he should've considered Peter. Very good man and underrated coach

You must absolutely hate the fact that Fury was his best, most conditioned and most disciplined self full of potential under the guidance of his uncle. Only trolls like you would talk down on the guy. Fury’s erratic ways and falling off the wagon started exactly the day when the ogre was dumb enough to listen to his despicable father and parted ways from the only man in his family who actually knew what he was doing.

 And the only one that actually had the best in mind for Tyson.

Interesting thought. I guess there’s the risk that Peter works best with fleet footed fighters, not so much in the way some fighters rely on their power - which would make sense as to why he really appreciates Usyks skillset. this fighters that big punchers.

Joshua would benefit from a trainer like Peter, but I’m unsure that he’d be the type of trainer to get the ‘dog’ out of the passive AJ.

Miniq has had a very difficult couple of months. To hear this from Tysons own flesh and blood, he’s devastated. All the PR work he’s been putting in has been for nothing.

Now after months of referring to Usyk as a Middleweight, Fury is dragging someone up even smaller.

    Poor lad.

It's interesting that people think Peter is a better and wiser man than Tyson Fury.
    Peter: convicted dealer of Meth.
    Tyson: party user of cocaine.
As for the PED conviction, Tyson was under Peter's regime at the time.

Do people understand how serious it is to peddle Meth? You do that outside 'The West' and you get removed from your society and the planet. Peter Fury is not a 'good guy'.

His “men’al ‘elf” thing has always been bollocks, but in any case, until he was with Peter, there were no issues with his mental state either. No drugs, no boozing, nothing. He was a completely different guy.

But he has always been prone to be manipulated and as soon as that criminal scum father of his was released from prison, he was under the influence of Uncle Fester. John made him sack Peter. He made him sack Davison too. Now he wants him to sack SugarHill too. It’s obvious that the eye-gouging idiot wants the coaching gig for himself. You as a Furyette vassal can only hope that Fury won’t be so stupid as to go down that route.
