I just watched highlights of both fights. To me Tyson although Ko'd seemed to fight the better fight, taking into consideration what stage he was at in his career.

There was times when he outjabbed Lewis, unlike Tua, he also got past Lennox reach, on the whole he seemed to make Lennox feel much more uncomfortable than Tua did. Tyson seems bigger than Tua as well.

Ultimately, i think the Lewis fight is one of Tysons best fights and even at the old age and despite being Kod, this fight proves Tysons greatness to me.

Tyson seems to be able to take more punishment as well.

The first round of the Lewis-Tyson fight is more exciting than the entire 12 rounds of the Lewis fight with Tua.

I would say Tyson on the basis that he might be given the first round.

He was trying to do something.

Tua seemed to freeze after every Lennox jab whereas Tyson was bobbing weaving and trying to find a way forward. I think this is one of Tysons best fights. I think his losses answered all the questions his wins never could.

Not much to choose from since neither actually accomplished anything against Lewis.

Tyson looked absolutely horrible in there, I'd call it one of his worst performances. The highlights are compiled from the moments where he showed any kind of signs of life. This is the true story of the fight:

Tua was actually gaining ground early in the fight. But he completely stopped around the 4th or 5th round. Tyson was useless after round one.

This. Tua landed more shots, harder shots, and fought through to the end.

Tyson gave a decent round, got a **** kicking and got done in by the 8th.

How? I know you're a fan of Tyson but what the hell. do you like watching Tyson get beat up? I don't get it. It proves he had a fighting heart if nothing else but he really only did anything in the first round.

Very true,Hydraulix. Overall,I'd say Tua though. As boring as it was.

Lets face it, Tyson was hurt after the first round and I believe Tua could have fought another 12 rounds lol

"Fought through to the end" :huh

    Bad choice of words. :nono

Tua got hurt early, then went into tentative survival mode. :tired

Although big credit to Lewis, for his virtuoso boxing masterclass. :bbb

So that's an excuse for Tua going into turtle-shell safety-first survival mode, & not pushing for the knockout he needed to win? :dead

The answer is David Tua. He fought a much better fight and landed more punches. Tyson did nothing and fought face first in an attempt to get knocked out. He just wanted it to end and had no will to win. David Tua, although in the worst shape of his career, fought a far better fight than Mike Tyson, who was a shell of his former self and nowhere near the caliber of fighter he was in the 80's or even in the mid 90's when he was released from prison. This same Tyson would go on to be KO'd earlier by Danny Williams and Kevin McBride in more brutal beatdowns.
