It was a good stoppage. The ref I think was Mitch Halpern?

Definately a good stoppage.Tyson was out on his feet at the end of round 10 and it was only a matter of time after that.

Mike was out on his feet going back to his corner at the end of the tenth round, in Round 11 Holyfield opened up and was nailing mike with some seriously hard shots and they were all pin point power shots, Mike would have been seriously hurt had Halpern not stopped the fight, Mike was not defending himself nor fighting back.

  10. **** no the fight wasn't stopped early, Tyson was out on his feet and done, and the 2nd fight confirmed what we already knew that Holyfield was the SUPERIOR fighter period...

Are you kidding? Holyfield beat Tyson's brains in at the end of the prior (tenth) round. In the eleventh - he was a walking dead man. Holyfield sent him reeling into the ropes and was unloading at will. If Halpern hadn't stepped in when he did - Tyson was going to get beat through the ropes.

Holyfield was extremely accurate with those hard, finishing shots at the end of the 10 and the beginning of the 11th. Tyson has a rock hard chin which is the only thing that kept him upright, but he was out on his feet..... perfect stoppage.

No-one could question this stoppage. If anything the ref could have stopped it earlier but it certainly wasn't premature.

why exactly? if you're referring to the clash which caused the cut, the replay clearly shows that on this occasion the head-butt-happy Holyfield was not at fault
