I believe the result could have been completely different.

A prime Iron Mike, using his head movement, rolling underneath Lennox's sometimes ponderous jab, could've roughed the big man up on the inside, akin to the first round of their virtually pointless encounter when Mike was all washed up.

Can't say with any great conviction, but I think a really spiteful, ferocious Tyson, would've been a test for ANY heavyweight, EVER.

More competitive fight but the outcome would be the same.

Lewis' jab was ponderous when he was being lazy. He would never have been lazy against any version of Tyson, which is why I always think he wins.

However, I said before the bout, and stick to it now, that the only thing Lewis gained by fighting that very, very tired version of Tyson was that idiots didn't go around saying Lewis had somehow ducked him.

any blind man saying there wouldn't be a different outcome is an absolute ******. Tyson dealt with guys lewises height/weight/skill and in his prime MURDERED them. I mean seriously, think about it

It's possible Tyson stops Lewis in the first couple of rounds due to the latter's slightly above average chin but if the fight gets past round 6-7 it all over for Tyson. Still Lewis would be the favorite in their fight but Prime Tyson has a chance.

Hell yeah, Tyson takes advantage of that shaky chin and bombs him out early. If ordinary fighters like McCall and Rahman could do it, a prime Tyson almost definitely would!

Lewis would win on a cut in the 4th.

This is pretty much an established fact.

    Actually, make that a 'FACT'.

Bruno & Lewis were very close to each other in terms of skill in 1990, Tyson would've did a real # on Lewis if they fought in 1990 IMO.

Lewis was knocked out by McCall in 1994. Had he fought Tyson during that era he would have met a similar result.
