Rory was ruled by his lust for cash.. King had not employed Holloway before Mike came around and has never employed him since.. The money scam mustered up between those *******s was put in place when Mike signed most of his estate to King while he was incarcerated.. Rory just was offered the ball, and just ran with it with little regard to Mike... John Horne knew some about business, but it was limited.. Jay was a decent guy , and he did know boxing to a point, he knew the structure and basis of training a decent fighter , but training Mike takes a lot of patience.. ask, Teddy, Ritchie, Tommy B, Kevin and Jay.. Freddie Roach had more patience than most but even with him it wore very thin.......... Horne and Rory .. I dont ever see them any more, but Aaron Snowell i talk to occasional he is a decent and clever man, and he did a lot of great work on the career of Tim Austin along with Carl King..

Man you really like to look at everything as if it was written on paper with circumstances holding little merit. Its really hard to debate with someone like you, because you dont take into consideration timing, and circumstances that may surround a loss, a win, an out of prime, or in prime fighter.

Your right, Snowell turned into a decent trainer but he didnt have the guts to train Tyson at that time. As for the others, there not involved in boxing anymore, so that speaks for itself. I just wonder if they are still friendly with Tyson or have any money left. I heard Horne was in financial problems a few years ago, and Bright just went back to Catskill when he was kicked off Tysons team. Im sure hes still friendly with Mike.

First of all my favorite heavyweight of all times is Lennox Lewis but I agree totally with your post specially the last part:Tyson, would've been a test for ANY heavyweight, EVER.

    12 years earlier ?.... No.

    14 years earlier ?... Yes.

Lewis beat Tyson in 2002 remember, Tyson was living bad & lost to Douglas in 1990.

The only point I'd make on this is that a 'back in the day' Tyson would have taken a fight like this ultra-seriously. Thought out and planned his strategy. Trained at his best because he knew he had to for this particular fight.

I'm not sure that Tyson was able to do this in 2002. He had been just turning up and headhunting for much of the time preceeding this point.

Bacially, what I'm saying is that the Tyson of old was not just a different fighter skill wise but he was a more motivated fighter who would have seen this as not only the fight of his life, but a fight he could win if he was not only in his prime but worked himself to peak right in this fight.

lewis landed a numebr of right hands on tyson, and tyson was taking them. lewis even said it with his own mouth. not if one of those landed punches hutert his hadn, imagine that he had to keep using it on his oppnent, you get it?

the fact that tyson has been koed more time then lewis, has nothing to do with their chins. so its useless to even bring it up. tyson is an all out agressive fighter, as opposes to lewis who is a boxer puncher, so hes gonna get hit more anyway. and even then tyson showed he had hell of chain to withsatnd that much punishment. having said that, lewis is chin is not that bad. its not a mccall type chin but its not glass either. if it was glass, he would have been koed mroe times then twice. some people just dont know rate these things

And if an ordinary fighter like Douglas could shut down and outclass Tyson, Lewis would too.

My2Sense, how many times can you bring up the exact same point and not sound like a broken-record? You know that Douglas wasn't fighting Mike at his best. He caught him on one of the worst nights of his career. Quit trying to turn that fight into something that it isn't.

Well it this case it was a response to someone categorically saying Lewis had a glass chin. So I'm not sure what your problem is with my reply. Lewis's chin admittedly wasn't in the same league as Tyson and Holyfield but it considering who he fought and beat, it couldn't have been all that bad.
