This thread was prompted by another asking if Tyson was top ten worthy?
So here we go, all opponents to be exactly as they were when they challenged Marciano for his title 15rds ,same gloves etc..

    Walcott.
    Charles
    Charles
    Lastarza
    C*ckell
    Moore
    Here's two bonus fights.
Also as they were when Rocky fought them.
    Mathews
    Louis

    What are the results?

ps I'd like a bit of detail if you can spare the time.

Tyson knocks every single one of them out and that includes Marciano too.

Tyson has a clear field. Walcott would cause him some problems.

Assuming he shows up with his head on right, he should be heavily favored to beat all of those and most of them with little trouble.

I know he was past his prime and kind of small, but Ezzard Charles was a beast in that first Marciano fight. There was zero quit in him.
Possibly would have dethroned several great champions that night.
Definitely a fight worth watching, although I haven't seen the full version.

It only took Tyson 4 years and 37 opponents to slip up. He would lose to somebody.

Yet another thread by Mcvey, trying to discredit Marciano.

    Douglas...

    Who would have thought it.

A good thread might be "chamoion Buster Douglas, the night he fought Holyfeild, versus Marcianos challengers".

    Proberbly too provocative though.

Who would favour that version of Douglas over Tyson though?

We are assuming that Tyson is at his best ,as Marciano was for those fights. If you think Tyson loses to one /some of them please name them.
That is after all ,what I am looking for.

Why don't you make it ?

I don't see the relevance to my thread though.

I'll make a thread you can participate in since you seem to be shying away form this one . Stay tuned!
