Tyson V Tua

While Tyson is the overall better fighter, I would not count Tua out in this match up.

Tua has the iron chin. He'd absorb much punishment. We know Tyson is KOable. He's been stopped a few times.

Then, there is stamina. Tyson would wear himself out by the mid rounds. At his very best, Tua had great stamina (Tua vs Ike set the punch stat record). Tua carried his power late into the fight, more so than Tyson.

I think this fight is either a Tua win by KO, or Mike takes it by decision.

 

I'm picturing young Mike at his best, rolling in with
the hooks, I can't see Tua lasting. agaisnt post prison Tyson..well yeah, but thats no fun

 

Actually, in this case that may be worse. It would burn more energy, and Tua is shorter than Tyson.

Funny thing is, if Tyson actually slowed the fight down, and went for the decison he could win it easily. He had the tools to do so. But, Tyson never adjusted a game plane like that. He always went in for the early KO.

Unlike all the other cans, and some OK Hw's Tyson padded his record with, Tua would NOT BE AFRAID OF TYSON going into the ring. . .

Tua would THUMP Tyson brutally until stoppage time came around the 5th.

Prime tyson would flatten tua out inside 2 rounds.

 

I take it you werent around during tyson's prime or don't remember how fast and explosive he was, not to mention great head movement. tyson, before he self destructed, pre-douglas, absolutely murders tua. Tua would be one of those guys in the tyson highlights getting viciously ko'd in 1-2 rounds. That is real.

Yeah, but Tua held a WBC International Trinket and beat Ruiz. Far superior to Tyson cleaning out and unifying the division, beating all those top 2 rated guys.

I doubt that he would stop him early BUT he would definitely stop Tua through accumulation at some point, aside from a solid chin Tua has ZERO to offer in this match-up.
