You don`t believe some fighters are well above everyone else in each division?

Fury , especially in his prime , was/is a remarkable boxer but he with very high probability he would NOT wreck the '88 version of mike tyson .

In fact the '88 version of mike would imho stop any of the current boxers .

Mike,s real prime was very short ( 87-89 only ? ) but in this prime time he was a machine , a century phenomena of power/speed/boxing skills .

This might be one of the worst topics I've seen posted on this forum, bringing up George Arias and Mike Tyson in the same topic is just ridiculous.

Weird that i'm not telling you what to think ? i don't even know what you're talking about. I just find it amusing that you always find a way to discredit Heavyweights of the past and like to waffle on that the Heavyweights now are superior. Yet Fury looking awful and struggling to beat an MMA fighter when he's the current Heavyweight champion is only "surprising". And then in another sentence you'll say the current Heavyweights are generally better now ? yet when has another supposed number 1 Heavyweight in the world had such an embarrassing performance against a novice ? do you not see how failed your logic is ? and how it is an oxymoron ? it doesn't make logical sense my guy.

No idea what you're talking about not sure what that has to do with my comment about top Heavyweights now having poor resumes and being at the end of their careers already.

Irrelevant question ? am i missing something here ? you're the guy claiming that this Heavyweight era is superior to other Heavyweight eras of the past. Yet you cannot conjure up an argument to tell me how the current top 10 Heavyweights of today are better than some of the notable 10 Heavyweights of other eras ? how in the world is that irrelevant ? how does that even make logical sense ? i think that's called you not having any reasonable argument to put forth your case hence that says it all really.

And again you always do this how is it irrelevant ? your comments make no logical sense. We judge a fighter on their resume and who they beat do you not realize that ? how can we compare a fighter in H2H mythical match ups if they have a weak resume ? how cannot you not fathom that at all ? it's absolutely baffling.

Fury is long way from being a legend and has missed out on countless top contenders. These are the opponents he hasn't fought who were top contenders in his era.......Joshua, Usyk = still not convinced this happens, Zhang, Joyce, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz, Hrgovic, etc. So if Fury has a weak resume and has not fought alot of top 10 ranked opposition how can you base an opinion on that ? on what based on size ? so what if the much smaller Usyk runs rings around Fury then what ?

Of course it does am i talking to a brick wall here ? so a smaller fighter like Usyk who's the size of alot of Heavyweights of 30 and 40 years ago. Isn't proof that smaller skillful Heavyweights of the past couldn't compete in this era ? am i missing something here ?

Smartboi is very smart! And if you don’t believe me, just ask him. Either vox is a touched-by-God genius or he wouldn’t have much success as a boxing analyst.

Ye gods! This post reeks of gamma male.
“I view boxing through a particular conceptual scheme….”. What the actual f***?
Did you really write that? I bet you’re a real hit with the girls at parties. You do get invited to parties, right? With girls?
Seriously though, darlin - one shadow1111 is enough for this forum.

They live in a Murican fantasy world. They think Tyson was a magical freak of nature when in fact he was a freak of roids and media hype.
Even still he fell short whenever challenged.

Povetkin and Haye were at least a couple of inches taller than Tyson, naturally much bigger and were still up against it facing athletic SHWs, looking small and vulnerable. But Tyson was magical so he'd just take care of them all!

I agree an absolute awful post and one of the worst comparisons i've ever seen, so because someone has the same build and trains to replicate Tyson that's evidence Tyson can't compete in this era ? what a load of tosh.

Has this guy ever heard of talent ? there's a reason why these guys can't replicate Tyson because Tyson is a genetic freak and one of the most gifted athletic talented fighters we've ever seen in Heavyweight history.

Tyson weighed 190 pounds at 14 so he was taking PED's at 14 was he ? and i love how you bring up Povetkin the guy who actually did get caught numerous times with banned substances as did Fury aswell after Wladimir fight.

Haye lost to a 40 year old Carl Thompson and was decked by a former Super Middleweight Lolenga Mock nah sorry hes not Mike Tyson try again.

Question to the OP : how many boxers (not even champions) lost against a MMA fighter ?

I think about what I'm going to say and then write it down - don't really know what you want me to say?

Should I reply with words I don't think?

Also, what you say to women, in my experience, has no bearing over whether or not they are interested.

    You're right!

In future I will be sure to parrot only the most banal talking points on this forum instead posting what I think, for risk of coming across as too edgy for other posters.

Yep, you’re a gamma. And you’re right about women in your case…you’ve already repulsed them before you even get within talking range.
