Just say, prime 1988 Mike Tyson beats prime 1965 Ali. LOL @ someone saying "Tyson wouldn't last 3 rounds". And mentioning Bonavena, Quarry and Chuvalo as reasons why he'd beat a young Tyson.....no....just no. If you ever wanted to see a pair of uncompetitive massacres, put a young Mike Tyson against Bonavena and Chuvalo. I don't think Tyson/Quarry lasts long enough to be considered a massacre. I would class it more of a destruction.

All destructions are not massacres but all massacres are destructions.

But seriously, I pick prime Tyson to beat prime Ali via UD.

Saw this years ago and had to have MANY drinks half way through it BC there was so many holes in this production that was deliberately trying to edge out Ali here all the while making Tyson look like a mindless brawler??????:duh

From what I remember they showed most of post Cus and Rooney Tyson while showing all the hand selected Ali clips making him look unhittable.....:boxing1

Tyson in no way shape or form would be the under dog in this match up for obvious reasons if you really know your boxing! I don't need an ESPN biased program like this one to figure out why....lol

It makes me cringe.... Ali would destroy Tyson, I cringe when people say Tyson beats Ali

Tyson would try anything to get DQ'd

For me, a prime Ali would have a hard time hurting or keeping Tyson off him with his punching power. That's when Tyson isn't slipping the jab.

Even at his worst , Tyson had far better defense than Frazier at any point in time. Ali would be in big trouble if Tyson actually is on point.

Tyson is the archetype to beat Ali. Short, stocky, excellent head and upper body movement, faster of hand and foot of Ali...... The sport and the boxers evolve. That's why fighter's greatness needs to be judged by how they did in their era only. Ali by far the greater fighter and boxer overall, but think of how Ali had trouble with Smokin' Joe and then think of a young and focused Tyson under Cus...... Poster material KO.

Ali would do Tyson even worse than Holyfield did. Ali has everything Holyfield did but he's faster and smarter.

This is the fight that you have to see to really find out.
    Both scenarios can happen.

I agree....Tyson was mentally weak...Don't think he would defeat a Prime Foreman let alone a Prime Ali...
