ali would obviously win tyson was mentally weak where and ali would use this to his advantage he would be playing mind games. ali had very good stamina where as tyson didn't. ali had the better chin. need i say more?
I think it would depend on which rendition of these two men fought and who would get the psychological edge in the pre fight build up. For me Ali was peak from 1966-67 while Tyson was probably best from 1987-88. Ali's weakness was a fast and well placed left hook and opponents who could slip the jab, both of which Tyson was excellent at executing. Tyson's weakness were opponents who were both mentally and physically tough and could use angles to fluster him. Needless to say Muhammad was a master in those areas. Tyson proved he was capable of going 12 while Ali showed he go 15 and win. Not an easy pick for me. My heart says Ali my sub conscious says Tyson. Anybody's fight to from where I stand.
IMO, Tyson would stop Ali in a few rounds. Mike had more weapons in his arsenal than Frazier had, faster hands, and much more punching power. Joe gave Ali hell and in my view, beat Ali two out of three. The similar but far better Tyson stops Ali in three.
yes because tyson is doing what liston foreman and shavers couldn't do. tyson was inferior to frazier in some things needed to beat ali. chin, heart, will, STAMINA. fraziers style was to take after ater his oppenents would tire tyson would slow down late ali would capatalize on this.
The Liston fights were fixed, foreman fought the dumbest fight of his career, and many people think that Shavers got cheated by the judges. Let's keep Shavers in perspective: loss in 1 to Quarry, KOd by stander, Lyle, Cobb.
Go to 4.11 of this Clip...Tyson answers your question and you can tell He is sincere.!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF17mkqyf44
Tyson IS better than Frazier, but Frazier would have gotten ~ 1/4 of rounds at their respective peaks. Abd Tyson would not necessarily do better, & lijely would be overcome. because besides chin/heart.wll/stamina, a BIG issue would be Tyson fought in spurts, somewhat less volume. And he was no great infighter, usually "agreed" to rest when clinched. Frazier is on your chest all day & throwing short hard punches continually.
