Ignore the imbeciles like ass licker 69, and you might get nearer to the truth. Tyson took his licks bravely, but that doesn't alter the fact that under sustained pressure he simply QUIT fighting. He tried to load up with single shots whilst he was getting peppered with hurtful, SCORING shots himself. He went through the motions, but he was simply too weak mentally to make a contest of it when he was pressured. A great example of this is the Douglas fight when Tyson was in his prime, but of course that fight can't be mentioned on ESB because Tysons silly fanboys waffle on about booze and drugs in the build up. Of course like the d**kheads they are they conveniently forget that plenty of other fighters ( YES!! world champions included ) were partial to both booze and drugs, but they didn't feel the need to cry to the world about it. Nor did they feel the need to encourage herds of idiot fanboys to contaminate the internet with feeble excuses for their addictions.
I will go with Tyson, but it depends on who the referee is. If Ali is allowed to hold, he'll tire Mike out and stop him late. If the ref makes Ali stand toe to toe, I think Tyson has a good chance of beating him up.
I don't think Ali has enough firepower to dent Tyson's chin. And it's not like Tyson wasn't spoon fed this style since his inception. Cus knew what it took to beat Ali. Tyson would too.
Tyson could handle single shots but fell apart when peppered with combinations, Ali definitely hit hard enough to trouble Tyson.
Tillis, who troubled Tyson with movement. Tyson had a ripping left hook that would get to Ali. Tyson SD 12, Ali TKO 15.
are you kidding me first people said tyson had a better chin?:think then a better defence?atsch and then somehow a more consistant body rate. and now he has a better left hook?:yep:deal. sorry but frazier had a much better left hook than tyson probably the best of all time. even if you cant handle it, thats the truth.
