And please to whomever was spouting it... no more drivel about Dempsey's footwork being better than Tyson's.

 

So Tyson can knock people out in a couple of rounds ��

 

The first punch Tyson landed against Holyfield in the first seconds of their first fight would put Dempsey in a coma.

 

Actually trying to bully and slug it out with Tyson means an early night, where do you think most of his KOs came from? The guys who stood in his firing range.

 

Naw they were all too scared, all you had to do to beat Tyson was "show no fear" "show the bully who's boss" "stand up to him" you can't make this stuff up :rofl

Honestly no he doesn't as much as I like Dempsey I can't see him winning but I do think if he lands big first we might have a shock on our hands . I can't see it though

What kind of gameplan did Mcall and Rahman employ against Lewis the first time around?

Do you think that the only reason that these guys beat Tyson was that they weren't afraid that of him? So everyone who Tyson fought was scared of him except those guys?

Those guys beat him because of a mix of right mentality but more importantly the TOOLS, the two go together you can't have one without the other. Dempsey has the mentality but he lacks the TOOLS, he's physically overwhelmed in every way, I've already laid down the challenge for Dempsey supporters to tell me how he wins this one and I've got nothing.

 

Your changing the subject to save face J. You stated Dempsey had a better straight and overhand right and uppercut, yet he rarely if ever throws those punches and when he does he does not throw them correctly. If you can't see that, I'm wasting my time with you. It's like trying to argue Joe Frazier has a better right hand than Muhammed Ali. Or perhaps Mayweather is a bigger puncher than Hearns?

Dempsey was a skinny guy about 190 lbs for 6'1".
I think some fans forget the Tyson-Spinks fight and Spinks had chin and outstanding skill and he was taller heavier and much more muscular than Dempsey. Plus Dempsey never beat an ATG Spinks did two times.
I used the Spinks example because the good old Michael was Tyson lightest
title fight opponent but still he was much more heavier than Dempsey who was a skinny cruiserweight by the modern standard.

If you can't work out the answer to your own post for yourself, don't waste my time, as I'm not interested in your opinion of who possessed the tools, or not.

The only thing I might be interested in is how both Bruno 2 and Spinks, as merely the worst examples sh it themselves with pure fear before the " fights " even started.
