In one of the biggest upset in boxing history, where were you the night buster shock the world? & did you lose any money.
i was 13 and watched it in the early hours of the morning with about 5 or 6 people at my dads house. i literally couldn't believe what i was watching. tyson was invincable, i never thought i would ever see him lose a boxing match, i didn't think it was possible. i watched the tape of that fight every day for about a month after.
I heard it the morning after, I was 16 at the time and didn't think it was possible. I saw Tyson dispose of a lot of guys in such easy manner I really thought he would be champ for another 5 years at least. When I heard there was a discussion about the infamous 'long count' I instantly believed that. Until I saw the footage that evening and reality slowly started to sink in... he lost... and to James freakin' Douglas of all guys... That bursted my bubble big time, surely when Holyfield KO'd Douglas in 3 rounds in his first defence.
