The speed of Tyson's punches meant that it was the surprise of the punch as much as the power that would drop someone that he hit. The Holmes fight was a perfect example of this as the first knockdown was the result of the punch been just too fast for the surprised Holmes to brace himself for the impact. I feel that Tyson could have done the same to George.
Only in Tysonland would that happen. Tysonland is the magical place where Tyson always walks on water and farts unicorns and rainbows.
If tommy Morrison can beat Foreman, Tyson will have an easier task. A fight against the 70's Foreman would have been more difficult
And if Tyson ever got Foreman in trouble like Holyfield did a few times, the fight would be over quickly. Rocky Sekorski took huge bombs from Foreman (flush bombs) and never tasted the canvas. I'm sure Tyson could weather a single Foreman shot without much difficulty.
Remember Ken Lakusta? Hurt Foreman with a haymaker right hand. Ken friggin Lakusta, Canada's finest. Old Foreman had power but not much else. He could take a pounding though.
Reading some of the pure **** in these Tyson threads, you wonder if the fvckwit ever lost at all? Perhaps those 5 stoppage defeats were all fouls, or figments of everyone else in the worlds imaginations, barring idiot Tyson fan boys.
How many rated contenders did Foreman face during his comeback? Something like 3, and he went 1-2 against them with his miraculous win over Moorer being his sole victory. And on the contrary, Alex Stewart stood toe to toe with George and came out the better of it. So I ask you, who did old Foreman beat that would give you the impression he could beat the most dangerous heavyweight in 1988?
