    Depends on his state...

Most of us dug New York in the 90's for that reason. Lots of credits, write-offs, etc. Midwest states have a way of doing to a fighters purse what Obama did to Romney and Chavez did to Taylor.

    Effin Oklahoma.

I loved watching this fight. Evander resurgent. Tight, crisp punching. He looked awesome, strong. Mike got a taste of his own medicine, and he OD'ed. We partied hard after that one.

    Interesting tax info:yep

What is burned deep into my memory was the euphoric screaming & hysterical orgasmic joy from the women in the arena when Tyson went down in the 6th:yikes

I always look around to take in the scale of whats around me & try & freeze frame the memoriers and that was one moment in time & a 1st I may add that i've seen such a reaction such as that one at the MGM from americans. What went though my mind in those slow motion moments was a degree of pity for Tyson, not as a fighter, but as a man & human being.

I recall thinking at that very moment when the crowd were screaming HOLYFIELD HOLYFIELD HOLYFIELD that Mike Tyson must feel the loneliest man alive at that very moment in that cauldren as he stood square on wth his gloves pinned up to his chest. Just one of them momemts & memories that superseeded any interest in the event at that moment, then it passed in a flash & i returned to screaming ****IN JEEZAS! ****IN ****! ****IN HELL! at every exchange:lol:

This fight without doubt tops the lot for me as far as a major event goes with regard to crowd & social atmosphere juxtaposed with the conclusion, a lot of people got really $$$$ burned & plenty got plenty:yep

thanks for posting this. i was always a casual boxing fan growing up but this fight turned me into a boxing fanatic. my parents got the ppv. my mom went to get some food for the fight and also came back with a vhs cassette to record the fight. after this, i think i recorded every fight that came on tv for the next 5 years. i might not have a fight collection the likes of some of you on these boards but i would consider mine very healthy. good memories.

A lot of youngsters often ask what it was all about in the 80's/90's with Tyson, the simple answer is it's TYSON TIME:yep MEGA EVENTS

Global Front Page News whenever he even farted, you can anywhere on the planet, from eskimo's to arapaho's, from Sudan to the gardens of Japan, yacatan to afganistan wearing a Tyson image t-shirt & you'll get them all pointing at you & saying TYSON TYSON:yep I've expearenced o more than one occasion when i i was in the middle of a desert in the middle east & a load of bedoin came by on camels & none could speak any english but they all could point at my t-shirt & say TYSON:smoke
