In reference to Tyson vs Holyfield II

Tyson came in very good shape, but I obviously had lost some reflexes and speed from his peak.

Even so, prior to the bite it almost seemed as if he had a chance to turn the tide and win the fight.

My question is, if his state of mind and mentality would have been similar to his Peak, would this diminished version of Tyson been able to win the rematch with Holyfield in the physical state he was in for the fight?

Tyson Stlye need excellent stamina or he will gassed out after 7 round.

Tyson after douglas seems have not plan B.

IMO tyson in holyfield fight are one dimensional fighter.

    My answer is No.

No. A bigger question for me is could any version of Tyson had beaten this version of Holyfield. He had his tactics utterly down pat and was bullet proof mentally. He also soaked up Tyson's punches with aplomb when he had to.

Tyson never beats Evander, Holyfield was too tough mentally , technically, and physically for Tyson to beat

Actually I am not sure what would have happen. Tyson was in tremendous shape and fought a good fight.

Tyson knew in the rematch that Holyfield was just as strong as he was. People thought before the first fight he was the bigger stronger guy, but when they fought Holyfield, having fought big guys for years had grown into a strong big enough guy who could push Tyson around and stopped Tyson with experience. Mike was not his best, but Evander was not going to lose to Tyson.

I do think the Tyson/Holyfield fight proposed for 1990 would have given Mike his best time to beat Evander because Evander was not a full fledged heavyweight yet.
