How about Lewis took Tyson and King to court because he was no.1 contender and King said they were going to fight Seldon and then Lewis would be next. Lewis took them to court and got 4 million and the promise that Lewis would be next after Seldon. Lewis won the money, he didn't accept it and then King and Tyson didn't stick to his word and dropped the belt and went after a guy who was considered done in Holyfield.

Made up it back fired, Tyson had hit as far as he was going to go, whether it be Holyfield or Lewis who met Tyson back then Tyson was getting beat.

So it's not a case of Lewis accepting 4 million, it's a case of Tyson and King where so not keen on fighting Lewis they were willing to pay 4 million of their own dough not to fight.

Lewis was offered 10 million to fight Tyson but priced himself out when he demanded 15 million. He demanded 15m when he didn't even have a title and was coming off the Mercer ass kicking.

In the end he turned down a shot at the title and 10m to walk away with 4

As for the one shot KO's on Lewis, I still think thats less damaging than being systematically beaten up then KTFO by a 42 - 1 shot underdog, then picking on the weakest link 6 years later and have the same thing happen again, at the ages of 23, and 29, compared to Lewis 29, and 36.

HBO always said they were willing to do a duo promotion with SHOWTIME when it came to Tyson-Lewis, and that's what ended up happening in reality.

So the 4 million dollars and the promise he was next after Seldon, was reality. Tyson dropping the belt instead and going to fight Holyfield because they thought Holyfield was done was reality.

Tyson never dropped the belt. Lewis had it written into the contract that the belt become vacant so he could pick it out of the bin for the second time.

That's not evidence kid, that's you quoting something and not giving a source and it could be an article straight from SHOWTIME themselves which would be pretty pointless because they definitely didn't want their cash cow fighting Lewis who was on HBO, if Tyson lost to Lewis then it burst their bubble along with Tyson's.

Hence why they paid 4 million to not fight Lewis.
