Lewis fights careful and keeps tyson at the end of his jab all night before knocking tyson out in the 8th round on accumulation.

People need to understand that Lennox Lewis, when he fought Mike Tyson.

In my opinion it was a sub - par performance from Lennox Lewis and he could of done allot better.

He was by no means at his total best that night.

 

Holmes was past his prime and had like his frist fight in 3 years against Tyson, and he was still able to trouble him with the jab.

 

lol... Holmes never troubled Tyson with the jab. In fact no body troubled a prime Tyson with a jab . He was almost impossible to hit with it because of his head movement.

I think Tyson would blow Lewis out. Lennox is great when he can keep a guy at the end of his jab, but once Tyson gets inside it's all over.

 

Even a non prime tyson......... The guy who fought mitch green.........wouda knocked lennox lewis out........... No problem

 

Lewis would never have dealt with the intensity, ferocity and quickness a young Tyson brought to the ring.
Tyson and early, as he would have respected how good Lewis was, and really gone for it.

They would fight more than once with a few years between each bout. The first fight? Mike runs him over. The second fight? Lewis could win an SD or lose an SD. The last fight? Lewis wins a UD.

Both of their careers would be severely shortened.

 

The exact samething can be said for Tyson...Tyson has never faced a guy with Lennox's skillset, his jab, his powerful right hand, his deadly uppercut, his ring IQ...All of these traits would bother tyson.
