cus d amato tyson would win the first half, with lewis's jab connecting him one out of 3 times perhaps. Lennox's jab was more of a piston like jab, resembling more that of a prime Holmes, not a rapid fire one like Ali's that was used more to confuse his opponents not so much hurt them or set them up for a fight ending right. prime lewis didn't have the best stamina and his best chances to beat tyson might of been in the opening rounds, but something that is being seriously overlooked here is that tyson had the much better chin than lewis ever had. cus d amato tyson also did alot of bobbing and weaving, he was a very defensive fighter as he was offensive.

there was a moment in there bout where tyson landed a clean right hand on lennox and stunned lennox for a moment, but tyson never followed up. had it been the explosive 80's version he would of never let lennox off the hook on that one. i just think this fight might of been alot closer than what alot of people think if these 2 fought prime for prime.

To be fair Lewis turned Pro alot later than them, and Bowe blatantly did duck him, however you have a point, Lewis caught both Holyfield and Tyson on the decline.

You can make a case for an early Tyson stoppage based on Lewis being stopped by Oliver McCall.

You can also make a case for Tyson grinding out a points win based on being a better version of the Ray Mercer that almost outpointed Lewis.

You can make a case for Lewis stopping prime Tyson late based on Lewis being better than Buster Douglas

The only unlikely scenario is Lewis by early stoppage

the problem i see with this,is lewis didnt take a better shot than Douglas, nor did he go to the body like Douglas did against Tyson he would have been to cautious.

Douglass showed fantastic foot work and movement the night he whooped Tyson, I don't see Lewis moving like that for 12 rounds, now Holyfield could definitely move like that all night.

Do you really think Lewis could have beaten a prime Bowe? no way could Lewis take those shots that Holyfied hit Bowe with,i think Lewis would have been ko'd by all 3 in there primes,if McCall and Rahmn did these 3 animals would have mauled him, something to think about isnt it?

That version of Douglas that beat Tyson, would have beaten any version of Lewis,Douglas was a incredably talented fighter, but he had poor discapline and eating habbits, same thing for Tyrell Biggs,Tony Tubbs,Tim Wheatherspoon, and Greg Paige, these were all very very gifted fighters, all were more talented then Lewis in my opinion and they fought better comp.

Honestly I don't know, Bowe was very easy to hit BUT he was a very good inside fighter and Lewis isn't too good on the inside. I know 1 thing though, Bowe should've fought him instead of throwing the belt in the trash can, that was some real ***** **** right there.

Agreed, that was weak on his behalf, his jab and reach would have given him what he needed to get inside on Lewis, besides Lewis's footmovement was only slightly better than Bowes .
