Tyson vs Marciano

    we are disagreeing, because Im stating that tyson fought the better calibre of contenders if you minus larry holmes out of the picture for tyson, and walcott/moore out of the picture for marciano

    im not saying that this is to make a conclusive judgement that tyson would have whooped marciano.....but tyson, at a very young age, when he was able to control his rage somewhat, was tearing through young, physically huge contenders (their calibre can be disputed, but wins such as the one's over spinks and tyrell biggs were massively impressive)...

    and i feel that marciano would have just been totally brutalised.....:smoke

    The average age of Marciano opponents were during his title reign was 38 years old. Not something I would brag about, none of those great fighters were in their prime.

    ...I don't know what you're arguing with still, as I already said I'd favor Tyson over Marciano. Sounds to me like you just have an ill-informed agenda against Marciano and don't like when people don't go along with it? And you're making assumptions about what I have and haven't watched that I find cute and cuddly. I suppose Mike's opponents aside from Holmes were all fresh as the morning dew. (Just playing your game) Charles from both Marciano fights and Walcott from the first Marciano fight>>>Inactive and faded Holmes, and Larry's leftovers in Berbick and Smith at the least. My opinion. You're the one just chatting ****. Throwing out whatever to try and detract from Marciano. That's cool. It's looking like a clear agenda to old Uncle Boxed Ears now.

    Marciano is the only "great" heavyweight I would favor Tyson to beat.
