I'm thinking the first 3 rounds of Morrison-Mercer, only Tyson doesn't gas and has a great chin himself.
Mercer was solid as hell, but not hard to hit cleanly. His defense was pretty dire really. Morrison was cleaning his clock until his achilles heel of no chin and poor stamina caught up with him.

So I have to go with Tyson, who is much better than Morrison and far more resilient. Tyson either by stoppage or painful beatdown on points.

In your point of view, why do you think Foreman never signed the contract King presented him? I'm pretty sure George had lawyers that could've handled King. John Ruiz was able to make a career out of it. Maybe he was waiting for the Douglas-Holyfield winner to pan out in 1990. But what about 95/96? I'm just miffed that some think Tyson ducked Foreman based off some thinly veiled article that a known Tyson hater hack put together.

I agree with this. Mercer was there to be hit. Not good against Tyson, I don't care how thick your beard is.

Please post the information regarding Foreman not signing the contract. I'll ask you instead, why on the video clip does Don King say **** all when Bob Arum mentions Foreman has wanted Tyson since the 80's?? I await your answer.

It's a video on YouTube. Find it yourself. "Foreman and hardest hitters".

I've seen that video and he's basically having a laugh and is exact words are "I got more afraid of Don King and the dotted line than I got of Mike Tyson." Not as Asser put it.

Big deal if it wasn't the exact words. Foreman admitted on camera he wouldn't fight Tyson if King was involved. Foreman almost got his wish but Tyson went to prison. King didn't want Tyson to face Holyfield but since Tyson threatened to leave King he got the title shot. Were you a boxing fan at the time?

He admitted nothing, all he said jokingly was he's more scared of Don King than Mike Tyson. You're just putting words into his mouth. Yes I was a boxing fan at that time were you??

I'm repeating what he said. But to you he was joking. Joking or not he said what he said. He admits he didn't sign the contract. And yes I was 14 at the time.

I would be less surprised if you said that if George Foreman fought 1987 Mike Tyson in Foreman's pro debut that George would KO him in one round. You're no one to accuse anyone of bias.

No he didn't admit he didn't sign the contract so stop putting words into his mouth.

But you believe the story about Tyson not wanting to face Foreman? That article has so many logic loop holes and inconsistencies that it looks like a poorly written 3 grade book report. It's completely one sided and biased in favor of Foreman that if HeavyHands knew English I'd believe Frank Lotierzo was his alias. But it's gospel, right? And people use this as proof or evidence? Seems a bit odd to me.

The Tyson of 2002 would have lost to the Larry Holmes of 2002, he was so badly eroded
