Tyson vs Nielsen

    I have rewatched Tyson vs Nielsen yesterday and was appalled by how much Tyson's footspeed had deteriorated at this point. Except for maybe one sidestep move in the 3rd, he didn't show much on that department. The 239 lbs didn't suit him at all.

    On positive notes, the knockdown was beautiful and Nielsen's toughness was appreciable.

    I wonder why Nielsen was chosen as an opponent in preparation for Lewis since he fought nothing alike : immobile, slow and not powerful. No doubt that Lewis was leaps and bounds above him.
    Tyson's schedule was quite good in 2000 but he completely blew it away by 2001 by being inactive (he should have taken the Izon fight) and gaining weight.
