Thoughts on how this fight would have panned out in the early 90's ......

Bowe by TKO .... he'd dismantle tyson as he lunged in .....

OMG, if not a prison, he could be the greatest, just impacable etc. etc.

My prediction: Tyson get ****ed by those aweful uppercuts :!: Bowe TKO

with cus tyson beats all.the guy kept tyson hungry and in great condition. without him he loses because he's not prepared and he could not have intimidated bowe. The tyson prior to the death of cus had great footwork and head movement thus the uppercuts would not have landed that clean but the thread said the 90's so with all the variables at hand bowe beats the **** out of mike to big great jab and out of wack tyson

Actually, I would add that the version of Tyson that unified the belts right out of prison would beat Bowe as well. After that, then its a toss up of course but when he first got out, he was lethal.

I would give Bowe as good of a chance as anyone else to beat Tyson. He ould keep Tyson on the outside and was also a good inside boxer.
I would still pick Tyson to win. He would eat a few jabs but he would avoide a few getting inside where he would be more effictive.

  12. AGREED, If the fight had taken place in 95 when Bowe was at his peak, and Tyson just got out it would have been Buster Douglas part 2:yep Tyson didn't deal well with tall fighters, Bowe was 6-5 and Tyson was short 5-10, Bowe wouldn't have been scared of him either, and would have kicked his ass.

Tyson would kill him. Bowe was an overrated spot picker and I doubt he ever would've even taken a fight with Tyson.

Bowe destroys him...sorry guys. Im talking KO rnd 4-7.

A prime Bowe (tho VERY shortlived due to poor training and mental makeup) was in my opinion the #1 H2H HW ever. He was powerful...had deceptively fast hands for a big man...a solid as a rock chin...great movement for a man of his size...very good from the outside, arguably one of the greatest of all time on the inside....THAT UPPERCUT!!! THOSE HOOKS!!! I could keep going....

Bowe is one of the most underrated talents in the long history of the HW division. Also, he is the UNARGUABLY THE biggest waste of talent....which feeds into why he is so underrated.
