Ok, Tyson vs RJJ in they're primes, who wins?

And a quick question....How come this fight never happened?:?

Umm... Well, there's the fact that Tyson is much larger than RJJ.

Assuming that RJJ was crazy enough to take the fight, his head would end up in the 3rd row within a minute.

Prime Tyson is one of the worst matchups for RJJ at heavy.

By the time RJJ was actually in the world-level picture, he could've quite possibly beat Tyson IMO. Definately the 1998-onward Tyson, who had lost his defence and movement.

Post-Holyfield Tyson - RJJ might be an interesting matchup.

Roy Jones probably doesn't make it out of the fifth round against 1986 - 1989 Mike Tyson. The only way Jones has a chance to survive let alone win this fight is by dancing and staying up on his toes for the entire fight. If he stands and trades with Tyson, he'll get destroyed

If they were to fight today with at their respective ages, I think Jones probably lasts the entire fight and wins a 4 point unanimous decision 116 - 112 over twelve roiunds unless Tyson knocks him out. Definitely Jones could handle the dissapointing 240 lb Tyson that Lennox Lewis was still scared of.
It was sad to watch that fight because Tyson had nothing and Lewis backed up and fought very cautious even though he probably could've finished Tyson earlier.

    Tyson easily.

Post Golotta might start to get competitive.

Lewis was 35 himself. You can be pretty sure that if that version of Tyson lands on a 35 year old Jones, that he's counting sheep just like he did after Tarver II (who by the way, wanted to fight Tyson around 2005).

Jones would give Tyson problems for as long as the fight lasted. However, Jones going up against a fast heavyweight with chilling power would eventually catch up with him.

    Tyson KO8.

You're trying to big up your fighter against a natural 168 pounder. Real tough.

I have heard that they are both unbeatable in their primes...so they must just fight for eternity???

The U.S. first on the moon in 1969, then to be followed Roy Jones, then the Chinese in 2020.

(I think Roy's dad said "please, please, don't do it)
