    ahh, jones moved up to heavyweight soley to win a heavyweight belt from a beatable opponent in ruiz. it was a low risk/high reward, chance to make history. after that, jones had not intention of fighting any other heavywieght. thats why he moved back down to fight tarver.

    If PPVs had been around in 1971, the FOTC would probably have set records that would have lasted until today.

    Even the Thrilla in Manilla would have been bigger than most such events now.
