Tyson vs. Sullivan, Fitz, Jeffries on the Same Night

I don't buy training stories, ask a random man his bench press, take him to a gym and make him do it, he probably won't do half of what he's claimed. Its the same with running times/amount of miles a week people do, its all BS. With boxers level of arrogance its compounded

Either way Vo2 maximisation is reached for runners at maxed out 5k distances, for heavier boxers the distance is lower, any further and it becomes muscle endurance

 

Jeffries training camps are confirmed by multiple contemporary media sources. There is little doubt that he was one of the strongest and best conditioned heavyweights of all time.

Sources that describe the range of activities he completed over the course of a single day are misleading because he never did the same thing on any two days. One day he might do a 14 mile run with sprints at intervals, while in another he might do a five mile run or an eight mile walk, and focus more on other things.

 

On separate nights, with sufficient rest and training in between fights, I think Mike Tyson would beat Bob Fitzsimmons, lose to Jim Jeffries, and I'm not at all sure who would win between Mike Tyson and John Sullivan...but, at this moment in time, I'm leaning toward Sullivan to wear him out and get the late stoppage, but I wouldn't argue the point too strongly.

All in the same night? After the hell he would go through against John Sullivan, if he still went into the ring with Ruby Robert, I think Bob Fitzsimmons would beat him...and the Jeffries fight wouldn't happen.
