Prime-Peak 1986 Tyson with proff. record of 19(19)-0, was in fight with a Grade C slick-boxer, a poor-man's version of Ali, a boxer called James Tillis. It a v.close fight - BUT i know in me boxing-brain Tillis did enough to win.

Any-one who think Tyson has good chance against Ali need to watch this now And change there mind quick.

My scorecards for teh fight -

    in rounds -
    6-4 Tillis

    In points
    95-94 Tillis

Tillis won a moral victory by going 10 rds with 19 year old Tyson in '86, but he fell short on points..... Tyson W 10 Tillis is right.....

Rewatched it and it wasnt even close. I don't count a few of those tapping uppercuts, some pushed punches and clinching as equal to the dozens upon dozens of thumping body shots, clipping hooks and even slightly off the mark right hands. The preponderance of offense was Tyson, though Tillis does get credit for showing a faint blueprint of what it will take to beat Mike. Still, he falls far short.

Well, we all know that Frazier was robbed against Foreman. Twice. Just like Tillis was here.

Foreman Hook is surely a joke poster. I don't think anyone could seriously say that a 1999 Holyfield would easily KO the "shot" Holmes who fought Tyson while ignoring that a prime Holyfield struggled to a decision over an even older Larry Holmes.
