ohhh, but i am lord puff and pat, who has judged 5,000 set-to's under the marqueens of queensberry's rules of querrery... that tillis bloke threw a fit, an absolute fit, and put that brute tyson in poofterty what-have-you!

i judge tillis to be slappiest chap of the season!

I scored ali frazier 1 for frazier because he dominated the rounds he won and his heavier work overshadowed ali's. It was an entirely different fight to tyson-tillis.

thats how I also see it.

so you had tua beating lewis? your knowledge is flawed. entire countrys do not think the same way which is why I accept nobody can always be right and why we need 3 judges.

Do you mean to say that Tyson was as ineffective against Tillis as Tua was against Lewis???

No. Im saying tyson was not as effective against tillis as frazier was against ali the first time which is what you are saying.

It was a one sided fight............. Tillis just exposed mike as a mere mortal who could be extended .........

Tyson dominated the fight , but didn't get a stoppage which was unusual for him at the time.

I think 7-3, 6-3-1, OR 6-4 for Tyson are good scores. If you like to score soft taps punches on par with power shots, you could argue Tills draws or even edges a win.

I wonder what Team Tyson thought after this match?

they thought he lost. check out rooney at the end of the fight. I have an article in a ring magazine i am trying to find where in prison tyson talks honestly about his career. at that point he was prety low, he didnt think he would box again, he said tillis should have got the decision and that his ribs realy hurt from tillis's body shots inside.

    it was a close fight.

I think the problem lies in his eyes.

But I suppose he could be a ****in' spastic as well.

tyson was green when he first fought tillis.

when he was in his prime, he dominated the man...

could not agree more! that is why I said in post#34 that tyson would have won an immediate rematch by KO. mike only had difficulty with the adjustment in class level, it was during his development and was wary of pacing himself for the distance but was always the beter fighter. tillis was a "live" opponent then. By the exhibition both careers were in oposite directions. tillis had lost many more fights, tyson was holding back.
