Tua KO the bully mentality won't work. You have to outbox Tua it's the only way to victory

One of my all time favorite fantasy match ups!!

I take Tyson by a hair but either way i would have loved to see how Tua could handle Mikes speed and power.

Prime for Prime Tyson by a country mile. Even post prison Tyson from 1995-1999 would beat Tua, but by 2000 I'd favor Tua, since Tyson started coming in at 230+ and in my opinion Tyson was useless over 222, since he sacrificed his mobility and speed.

I'd pick Tyson, he's just the more complete fighter, his combinations and 2 fisted power would be too much for Tua. His hand speed advantage would see him get off first, his superior defence would see him take less punishment to land his own and prime Tyson at his best was great at combining his defence and offence to counter fighters to brutal effect. He'd make Tua miss and punish him for it.

Tua was cruder, he was basically just a hooker and relied too heavily on the left hook. You need more than just a big left to beat Tyson as the Ruddock fights showed. Up close both could be lazy on the inside but Tyson has the edge here with his uppercut, a punch Tua didn't throw much and one Ibeabuchi used successfully in their fight.

Tua of course has a punchers chance. Maybe he can out last Tyson, keep taking his bombs and catch a tired Tyson late but he's more likely to take to much punishment and be ground down.

Agreed! I think Tua takes Tysons shot a lot better than Tyson takes Tuas.
