Before Tyson deteriorated his defensive skills he was unstoppable for all even for Tua.

Tyson would not stand a chance against Tua in realistic scenario. He was too old and way past his best at this point.

Prime Tyson dominates Tua. If David's chin is really that good, maybe he'd finish the fight looking like a raw meat. Tyson was one of rare guys who had history of knocking out very durable fighters though, so a KO is possible here. Mike had more than enough chin to take few Tua punches he'd have to.

Yes, because chin+power is not everything. Tyson was much better defensively, he was much faster, much more accurate. He's simply better fighter. It's not that hard to understand.

No they are not. I said that Tyson would take very few punches from Tua, because he's good enough defensively to make David miss. It's not true the other way around - Tyson would hit Tua plenty and that would cause huge damage, no matter how durable you are. Tua is not big enough to stay away from Tyson and he's not big enough to dominate him in clinches. Open brawl with someone much better than you at that won't make you win. I thought my reasons are clear here.

Tua was a typical front runner and didn’t like when someone threw hard punches back. He couldn’t win a belt in an alphabet era. Yeah sure he was a good fighter but every fighter of note he jumped in the ring with outclassed him. Tua as this great H2H monster is a myth.

I’m not disputing Mike’s short comings. I’m discussing his prime. Tyson cleaned house. It may not have been a particularly great era at the time but he sliced through it like a hot knife through butter.

Tell me what did Tua achieve? Who did he beat? It’s a rhetorical question no need to reply.

There are levels in this game and Tua is leagues below Tyson.
