Foreman is way bigger, stronger And hits harder than Tyson, coming forward VS Foreman is a KO loss waiting to happen. :thumbsup He pushes Tyson around teh ring, like Frazier. Ronny Lyle is better then you give credit. :deal Aye m8 :thumbsup Foreman Hoooooooooooooooooooooooook!:smoke
I can see that :good The same one that got outmuscled by Jimmy Young?lol He was a good fighter but nothing more or less. Would not be one of the best wins on Tyson's resume and you know it. Still one of the worst strategies I've seen in a ring ever.
This thread should be merged with the last one on whether he was "overhyped". An "animal" who exchanged hugs with Bonecrusher Smith and inflicted absolutely no damage whatsoever in 36 minutes of "fighting". And won a close decision over the legendary Tony Tucker where Tucker landed the most memorable punches. And took how many rounds to pierce the armor-plated defensive shell of blown-up Cruiserweight Alfonso Ratliff? Sometimes he looked like "a f'ing animal" and other times he looked just okay. The Tyson that got schooled in Tokyo was in evidence all along, it's just that the hype got (and stilll gets) in the way.
Give Big Tony credit - he might of won as much as 16% of teh 12 Rounds!!:bbb If TNTucker was a Banker - he would of got a $2mill bonus for such a 'competitive' performance!!
Lyle was completely dominated by Quarry, Quarry looked like he had fast hands vs the lumbering Lyle!! I have massive respect for Lyle, but Foreman just stood with Lyle hands down and they had a damn street fight.. Mike would be moving his head and exploding into Lyle's body and head, Mike had the kind of speed to make Lyle look silly and the ability to hit him almost when ever he would choose.. I like Lyle and hes a very tough guy but come on Mike "Prime Mike" would tear him apart... I see Mike stopping him in around 7 or 8 rounds...
An animal... and freak too. Mike had tree trunks for legs, 27" among the largest among all heavyweight champions. This had a great deal to do with his power. At 5-10, he should only appear to look as big due to limbs/joint/frame size, not actually register larger measurements. A fair guess that its in large part due to his legs that he even crossed the 200+ threshold. His chest/arms arent exclusive although he gets an illusion boost being a shorter guy. Theres a plethora of other heavyweights that boasted 16" arms yet he appears bigger due to the smaller surface area to cover.

That video proves **** all, Foreman was a thousand years old, slow and overweight and got beaten by a younger, fitter fighter who had his running shoes on the whole time. Big whoop atsch
Have you actually seen the fight? Evander didnt just STAND up to Tyson, he boxed a very smart economical fight. He used angles, counterpunching and simple 1-2s and waited for Tyson to tire. Evander boxed a good smart fight
