Tyson was the youngest fighter ever to win the heavyweight championship. He unified the division beating ATG's like Spinks and Holmes.

How big a *** are you to compare Jeff ****ing Lacy to Mike Tyson who after years in prison came back and won the heavyweight title again?

 

I could see pre Calzaghe Lacy surviving Mikes early onslaught and slowly breaking him down for a late stoppage. You have got to bear in mind that Mike doesn't have Joe's insane stamina or speed, if Jeff can survive the first four rounds i think he would have a good chance.

 

I dont have so much to say about this, but dont be so sensitive! if other fighters can get doubts and **** written about them all over this site, Tyson can too!

Lacy was never in the same league as Tyson. Come on, Tyson was a supreme champion........albeit only prime for a short period.

 

Larry Holmes came out of retirement for that fights and was shot. He hadnt fought in nearly 2 years,after he had been beaten twice by Spinks.

He made his name as a light heavy, he may have been an ATG at light heavyweight! Certainly not at heavyweight!

He came out of prison,still in his 20s, no real reason why he shouldnt be able to get back to near his best after he training and a few warms ups.
His loss to Douglas came BEFORE he went to prison.

He then got beaten by Holyfield twice. Then Lennox Lewis destroyed him.

He couldn't even get past Calzaghe.

Spinks was undefeated before he fought Tyson. Tyson Ko'd him in 91 seconds. Holmes only loss was to Michael Spinks. Spinks and Holmes **** on any name on Lacy's resume. Lewis destroyed a past prime Tyson. Holyfied was the best heavyweight of his generation. No shame in losing to him twice, especially after Tyson was no longer at his best.

And if you werent such a ****** you'd see a clear differene in Tyson pre prison to Tyson post prison. Or more correctly Tyson pre Kevin Rooney.

When comparing Tyson to ****ing Jeff Lacy it doesnt mean anything. Tyson at his best and focused, hungry was one of the greatest heavyweights to ever lace him. Jeff Lacy was at his best a mediocre fighter.

 

Don't think Lacy ever quite got to the point Tyson is! Tyson goes down as a ATG, Lacy goes down as "What Hook" Lacy

Made a living out of beating bums,light heavyweights and past prime fighters,with a few good fighters thrown in. He wa a very good fighter,just not this legendary monster some people made him out to be.
