    Was watching boxing matches from the 80s and a young Mike Tyson was referred to as the black Marciano.

    Did some commentator say that? I will be surprised/shocked if any boxer or trainer thought MT and RM fought alike.

    whoever said that is stupid... Rocky was a survivor who excelled in wars of attrition. Tyson never let it get that far...

    buster got a 13 count and Tyson was slacking on training, if Tyson was in his prime he wouldve washed him. Holyfield was a dirty cheater and roided up. Dont disgrace Tyson.

    I remember reading about this. Then someone else chimed in and said he's like a Joe Frazier. Then a third person commented and said you guys both have it all wrong, he's like Jack Dempsey!

    I heard that as well. They were both short and had short arms. Most commentators don't know much more than that.
