You can absorb harder punches if you are being exclusively defensive bc you are always bracing and never committed so you should see every punch coming

I don't think so. I don't know what that is if it's like an eclampses or a coma? I do not type a lot, man. I do not know all of these weird keys that are used for gramber. I do know the exclaimatory key because it's the same as the number one, so that's easy.

 

-Tucker was playing purely defense
-Tucker would back up and out of the way to deflect Tyson's power through excellent footwork
-Tucker would tie him up on the inside to prevent Tyson from punching or initiating combos.

 

Tyson let opponents wrap him up too easily. His inside game wasn't developed enough to deal with this.

 

Its hard to knock out a fighter who is sole intention is to last the distance which is exactly what Tucker did vs Tyson.

 

Exactly, did some of the people here even watch the fight? Tucker was 6'5" and used his length and distance to purely survive the 12 rounds.

 

I haven't watched that one since the day. I don't recall it being too exciting - I do remember Tucker's excellent uppercut in the first round but that's about it. Same with the old Bone Crusher, boring. Like Tucker, James had his few seconds of success but at the other end of the fight. Terrible to see two fighters so heavily accented on survival, particularly such big, tall and well reached men relative to Mike.
