  1. Yes Hagler was better than Peter McNeely.

  2. Hagler did had war with Mugabi just before, and neither of them were the same again.

    And did SRL beat Hagler?

    Many would say he didn't.

Tyson looked so far from his best against Peter McNeely it wasn't funny.

What is wrong with you clowns saying Tyson looked good, when he was up against Tomato Can McNeely?

One of my all time favourite sporting quotes, rarely does 6 months pass before I use it.

Tyson didn't lift weights under rooney as part of his routine, he may of in juvi or whatever but some people are just naturally built with that short and stocky muscular build. He exercised with traditional boxing calistenics, a lot of body weight stuff, bag work, push ups, situps, neck bridges, medicine ball work etc and yeah tyson looked pretty rusty here and it lasted all of 30 seconds but mckneely did try to rumble with iron mike, as pathetic as he performed that still deserves some credit haha

There are some similarities between their careers if you think about it

Jordan was drafted in 84 and Iron Mike became a professional in 85

1988 was arguably Jordans best year and 1988 was when Tyson was at his peak ... Jordan was at the Tyson-Spinks fight too IIRC

Both were away from their respected sports for an extended period of time ... Jordan "retired" for like 18 months and Iron Mike was incarcerated for 3 years

Iron Mike was still the far superior athlete :D

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

    That workout regime is FAKE!!!

I made it up in 2003/2004 after listening to some BBC/SKY RADIO commentary Tyson did with Ian Darke in 1987 when he came to London to watch Bruno fight. Some of the exercises may be true and some diet patterns but trust me, I 100% made it up and posted it because we were all guessing what his regime would be. :good

I just threw Ian Darke's name in there to give it some credibility. :rofl

I can't believe it is still doing the rounds 9 years later :rofl:rofl:rofl

****, that's my internet legacy :rofl

My point exactly. He looked in shape and sharp.. but his hay day was long gone. This was just the remains of his greatness.
