Anyone Got Any Views On Which Fight Was His Best Performance.

I Think The Berbick Fight And Winning A World Title At The Tender Age Of 20 Amazing!!!!

    Not sure.

Maybe Berbick. Berbick may have not been the most talented guy but he was a good solid HW who had upset the very talented Pinklon Thomas a few months earlier. Tyson mowed over Berbick like he was nothing.

The Spinks fight is considered the greatest win for Tyson, as Tyson won the linear title over an unbeaten (at least on paper) Spinks in 91 seconds.

I also thought the Tucker fight was good because it showed that Tyson could win in different ways. Tyson had some trouble early on but started taking over at around the 5th round and even outjabbed the 6'5, 84" reach Tucker.

Spinks is probably the easy answer hear, seeing he was the fighter that beat the long reigning champ in Holmes twice, he was also undefeated as well.

I would personally go with Rudduck, he proved he can take an extremely hard punch in "The Smash", and keep coming forward and get the knockout in the end. Too bad he went to jail shortly after both fights.

I agree, the Ruddock fights were both amazing displays of not only giving, but also taking.

Tyson had so many awesome performances, its hard to pick one, seeing how the opposition level varied so greatly.

You are absolutely correct. Ruddock landed some shots that would have stopped a tank. I remember there was a point where he landed the smash flush on the jaw and Tyson's mouthpiece went flying. Tyson had a major league chin.

As for his best performance, I can't decide. I'd probably lump his 2 quick AC demolitions (Spinks and Williams) together with his win over Tubbs since nobody had done anything like that to those fighters. Actually, scratch that. Williams was stopped by Weaver in 2. Whatever, Tyson beat him cuz he did it in 1. The Berbick fight was great too.

Tyson was great when he was young and eager. To say someone else, the Biggs fight was a good professional performance. Also the wins over Tubbs and Ruddock I.
