    Reggie Gross :good

Damn Mike was impressive in his prime. When do you see **** like this from other HW's, or even any fighters in general? There will never be another Mike Tyson.

That was against Reggie Gross. It's hard to find 15 seconds of more impressive consecutive fight film from a heavyweight, even if it was against a lesser opponent.

Its easy to see why Tyson kept such a major and loyal fanbase after all these years. He had it all.

Nobody has mentioned the Golotta fight yet.

When you combine the quality of the opponent with how far removed he was from his peak this might actualy have been one of his better achievments.

Not his best victory, but good mention.

Many people forget this victory in which he looked very good, leading up to the Lewis fight. Yes, Golota had been stopped by Lewis in one round and quit against Grant after 10 rounds, he beat up Bowe twice, the same Bowe that had a stoppage win over Holyfield. But if only Lennox Lewis beat him in the same way Tyson did, then Tyson must still have had something special, handspeed and power. This alone gave him a good chance at an old Lewis and is one of the reasons that the odds were basically 50/50.

Lewis looked far better against Golota than Tyson did. Golota simply quit against Mike.

Yes but Tyson made him quit.

His injuries were not trivial either. His facial bones were smashed ala Dempsey Willard.

Yeah it was a fine win. Aside from the Bruno II fight, this is most likely his next best post-prison performance, against a dangerous (but hopping mad) HW fighter. :good

Same here. The Ruddock TKO was Tyson's best win. I also think Tyson's romp over M. Frazier was impressive.
