At 13:10 he says Teddy didn't put a gun to his head because of Tyson's coming onto his niece, but because Teddy was leaving Cus and wanted Tyson to come with him.

Sounds like complete bs, he's even gone along with Teddy's version of the story before. I always thought Tyson was an open book, completely honest when he does interviews nowdays, it seems like that, but maybe he isn't.

    I haven't watched the video yet but I read Tyson's autobiography. What's Teddy's version?

Its that Tyson came onto his niece in a ***ual way and that's why Teddy took a gun and confronted him. What did Mike say in the book?

    I trust Tyson's version more than Teddy's.

    Teddy is full of BS.

Mikes history with women is no secret. Probably some truth in both versions. Would not put it past teddy to try and poach him given the potential he had.

Something like the girl would often be flirtatious with him. He was messing around and grabbed her butt. He didn't mean to do anything evil. It was a stupid thing to do, he shouldn't have done it but he had no social skills.

I buy Teddy's version more considering the fact that Mike Tyson is a convicted ****** and is known to be very aggressive and violent when it comes to women.

Teddy left Cus' gym because he didn't want to train the sonabitch who s.exually assaulted his niece. Teddy gave Cus a "He goes or I go" ultimatum and Cus obviously sided with his protege.

Tyson previously said it happened, now he is changing the story? I love the guy but he came onto his niece and got a gun put to his head. Let it go. All you want to stir up drama for no reason.

This is what I remember from the book. As I recall, Mike admits he was stupid and immediately knew it was stupid from the girl's reaction. He also mentions he was 14, I think, but doesn't excuse it.

Elsewhere, he gives the bigger picture explanation of Teddy's reaction. Which is that Teddy was always jealous of Mike, since Teddy was Cus's favorite before Mike showed up. And that Teddy was leaving Cus anyway and tried to get Mike to go with him.

    The stories are completely reconcilable.

I've always thought Teddy was a hypocrite about this. On the one hand he claims Mike is the devil for doing something stupid that any kid can do. And on the other hand he himself is the great moral example and teacher of kids, whose reaction to a youthful mistake is to put a gun to a child's head.
